Ration for six months will be given once

Letters have been issued to Hazaribagh, Khunti, Latehar, Lohardaga, West Singhbhum, East Singhbhum, Seraikela-Kharsawan and Simdega DAOs including Gumla in the state. In which there is an order related to the distribution of rice among all the families covered by the Jharkhand State Food Security Scheme (JSFSS) for the month of November 2022 to April 2023. Under the order, along with other ration card holders, the green ration card holders of the above districts will not only get lump sum rice for the month of November and December last year and January, February, March and the coming month of April this year, but will get it smoothly every month thereafter. .

Order to get five kg rice per member

According to the information received from the District Supply Office, Gumla, the eligible beneficiaries whose red and yellow cards could not be made. By the way, the green card of the beneficiaries has been made by the Jharkhand government. Till the month of October last year, the ration card holders having green card got rice from the card. But from the month of November the supply of rice stopped. Now the Jharkhand government has issued an order to ensure distribution of five kg rice per member among all ration card holders.

45,534 members will get five kg rice from 12780 cards

Green ration cards have been made for a total of 12780 eligible families (beneficiaries) in Gumla district. The total number of members of all those 12780 ration cards is 45534. In which 1728 members of 452 card holders of Jari block, 3768 members of 1065 card holders in Basia, 2201 members of 636 card holders of Bishunpur, 2515 members of 615 card holders of Chainpur, 1897 members of 534 card holders of Dumri, 4529 members of 1195 card holders of Ghaghra, Gumla (Rural) 7885 members of 2636 cardholders, Gumla (NP) 1777 members of 496 cardholders, Kamdara 2117 members of 612 cardholders, Palkot 3978 members of 1156 cardholders, Raidih 834 cardholders 2763 members, Sisai 1609 cardholders There are 5780 members and 3486 members of 940 card holders of Bharno block.

The ration of ration card holders will not be stolen

The government has found a solution to the problem of getting less ration to the ration card holders. Under the new order of the government, now the ration dealers will not be able to steal the ration of the card holders in the ration being distributed. Now the rice to be distributed among the ration card holders will be five kg per packet. Rice supplying agencies will give 10 packets of five kg each in jute bags of 50 kg. Which will be given by the ration dealers one packet per member of the ration card among the card holders. For this, orders have also been issued by the government to the agencies.

Green ration card holders will get rice: Gumla DSO

Gumla DSO Gulam Samdani said that the state government has issued an order to ensure distribution of ration among all ration card holders. Under the order, the possibility of getting rice to green ration card holders has also increased. Because rice was closed to the green ration card holders from the month of November last year.
