During his first speech from the new Parliament, PM Modi said, ‘Today is May 28, 2023, this day is such an auspicious occasion. Amrit Mahotsav is being celebrated on the occasion of 75 years of independence of the country. An all-faith prayer has been offered in the Parliament building complex this morning. I congratulate all the countrymen for this golden moment. It is not just a building, it is a reflection of the aspirations of 140 crore Indians. This is the temple of our democracy.”

PM Modi said that in the Chola Empire, this Sengol was considered as a symbol of duty path, service path, national path. Under Rajaji’s leadership, this Sengol became a symbol of the transfer of power. Adhyayanam devotees, who had specially arrived from Tamil Nadu, were present in Parliament this morning to bless us. This holy Sengol has been established under his leadership.
He further said that our constitution is our resolution. He who stops, his luck also stops. He who moves, his destiny also moves. So keep going. After slavery our India started its new journey after losing a lot. That journey has gone through many ups and downs, overcoming many challenges and entering the golden age of independence.
