PM Modi interacted with the workers who were safely pulled out of the Silkiara Tunnel in Uttarakhand on phone and inquired about their health and well-being and encouraged them. On the other hand, Chief Minister Pushkar Dhami announced to give one lakh rupees to all the workers.

Appreciating the people involved in the rescue operation, Prime Minister Modi said that their bravery and determination have given a new lease of life to our labor brothers. Everyone involved in this mission has set a wonderful example of humanity and teamwork. The Prime Minister posted on Twitter and said, โ€œThe success of the rescue operation of our labor brothers in Uttarkashi is moving everyone. To the comrades who were stuck in the tunnel, I want to say that your courage and patience is inspiring everyone.’

Apart from this, PM Modi wrote in his tweet, ‘I wish you all well-being and good health. It is a matter of great satisfaction that after a long wait these friends of ours will meet their loved ones. The patience and courage shown by all these families in this difficult time cannot be praised enough.’

PM Modi further said, ‘I salute the spirit of all the people involved in this rescue operation. Their bravery and determination have given new life to our labor brothers. Everyone involved in this mission has set a wonderful example of humanity and teamwork.

At the same time, the 41 laborers who were evacuated from the Silkyara tunnel on the 17th day on Tuesday have been taken to the hospital in Chinialisaur, where all the laborers will stay under the supervision of doctors for 48 hours. After this they will be allowed to meet their families. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that after the workers get healthy, the government will give checks of Rs 1 lakh each as financial assistance.

The Chief Minister called on all the agencies, personnel of NDRF, SDRF, ITBP, BRO as well as international tunnel expert Arnold Dix and his Thanks to the team and Chris Cooper who worked day and night for 17 days in this difficult rescue operation.

Dhami said that the government will give financial assistance of Rs 1 lakh to all the workers trapped in Silkyara tunnel. Instructions have been given to the officials in this regard. Apart from this, complete arrangements will be made for treatment in the hospital till going home.

Talking to the media in Silkyara, the Chief Minister said that all the workers trapped in the tunnel have been admitted to the hospital. The government will bear the cost of hospital treatment. Apart from this, the government is also arranging food and accommodation for the family members and workers. He said that the government will bear all the expenses till the workers go home.

Dhami said that this operation was successful due to the grace of Baba Bokhnag and Gods of Devbhumi. So a huge temple of Bokhnag deity will be built in Silkyara. Necessary instructions have been given to the officials in this regard. The Chief Minister said that with the blessings of Baba Bokhnag, all the workers have come out safely. He said that the villagers have raised the demand to build a temple of Baba Bokhnag. The government will fulfill this demand.
