PM Modi inaugurated the new Parliament building

PM Modi dedicated the new Parliament building to the country in a grand program today i.e. Sunday. Modi bowed to Sengol and installed him near the Speaker’s chair. Adhyayanam Saints of Tamil Nadu performed the ceremony with full rituals. After the religious ceremonies, the sevadar saints handed over the sengol to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, which has been installed in the new Parliament building.

Havan-pujan is going on for the inauguration of the new Parliament building. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Speaker Om Birla are present in Parliament. Prime Minister Modi also felicitated some of the workers who played an important role in the construction of the new Parliament building.

Dressed in traditional attire, Prime Minister Modi entered the Parliament complex through Gate Number One and was received by Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla. The Prime Minister performed ‘Ganapati Homam’ amid Vedic chanting by the priests of Karnataka’s Sringeri Mutt to seek the blessings of the Lord on the occasion of the inauguration of the new Parliament House. The Prime Minister bowed down to the ‘Sengol’ (scepter) and took the blessings of the priests of various schools of Tamil Nadu with the sacred scepter in his hand.

After this, amid the tunes of ‘Nadaswaram’, Prime Minister Modi took Sengol to the new Parliament House and installed it in a special place to the right of the Speaker’s seat in the Lok Sabha chamber. On this occasion, Union Minister Rajnath Singh, Amit Shah, S. Jaishankar and Jitendra Singh, chief ministers of several states and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president J. P. Nadda was present.

In the Sarvadharam Sabha in the new Parliament, many dignitaries including Prime Minister Narendra Modi and all Cabinet Ministers and Chief Ministers of other states are present. In this all-religious event, religious leaders of many religions, including Buddhists, Jains, Parsis, Sikhs offered their respective prayers.

After this Hawan Hoya and sending Sengol to P.M. Modi took the blessings of saints. Before the inauguration, the Prime Minister appealed to everyone to provide voice over for the video of Parliament House. Let it be known that 20 opposition parties have boycotted the inauguration of the Parliament.
