PM Modi Distributes Job Letters to 71 Thousands Recruits at Rozgar Mela

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday handed over appointment letters for government jobs to 71,000 youth. PM distributed appointment letters virtually. Addressing the program, the Prime Minister also congratulated Baisakhi. The Prime Minister said that the Government is committed to providing the right opportunities for the talent and energy of the youth to achieve the vision of a developed India. The Prime Minister also highlighted that the process of government recruitment is happening at a fast pace in NDA ruled states from Gujarat to Assam and from Uttar Pradesh to Maharashtra.

They Said That recruitment letters were distributed to more than 22 thousand teachers in Madhya Pradesh on Wednesday. PM Modi said that this employment fair is a proof of our commitment towards the youth of the country. Significantly, PM Modi had started the recruitment drive in October last year. Under this, a campaign has been started for 10 lakh jobs. The campaign has been named Rozgar Mela.

In October last year also, the Prime Minister had handed over appointment letters for government jobs to 75,000 youth. In the program held on Thursday, the Prime Minister said that amidst the global challenges of recession and pandemic, the world is seeing India as a better place. He said that New India is moving ahead with policies and strategies which have opened doors of new possibilities.

The PM said that after 2014, India adopted a proactive approach as opposed to the reactive approach of earlier times. This has created such a situation, in which such opportunities of employment and self-employment are available, which could not even be imagined earlier. Young people are turning to sectors that didn’t even exist 10 years ago. The PM specifically mentioned the drone and sports sectors. In his address, the PM also mentioned the report which said that startups have created more than 40 lakh direct or indirect jobs.
