Petrol-diesel rates increased in Haryana-Punjab

A slight increase in the price of crude oil is seen today in the international market. The rates of petrol and diesel have increased in many states including Haryana, Punjab. In Haryana, petrol and diesel are being sold at an increase of 21 paise. The rate of petrol-diesel has also increased in Punjab, Gujarat, Maharashtra.

WTI crude is trading at $72.67 per barrel, up 1.17 percent. Brent crude rose 0.69 percent to trade at $76.95 a barrel. Oil marketing companies in the country have released the latest petrol-diesel rates. Fuel rates are revised every morning at 6 am in India. Before June 2017, price revision was done every 15 days.

In Andhra Pradesh, petrol is being sold at Rs 11.17 per liter cheaper by Rs 1.22. Diesel has also fallen by Rs 1.14 to Rs 98.96 per litre. Similarly, petrol-diesel rates are seen falling in other states of South India like Kerala and Karnataka. On the other hand, the rate of fuel in North India is increasing. In Rajasthan, petrol has become expensive by 82 paise and diesel by 65 paise.
