Pakistani drone re-entered Amritsar, BSF destroyed

Once again a drone was sent by smugglers to the border. But the vigilant personnel of the Border Security Force (BSF) have succeeded in shooting down this drone. The jawans have taken possession of the drone after a search. A consignment of heroin was also tied with this drone, the international value of which is said to be around Rs 21 crore.

According to information, the BSF personnel were on patrol near Attari, the international border of Amritsar. Meanwhile, the jawans heard the sound of a drone. The jawans immediately started firing. After a few minutes the drone stopped. After this, the jawans started a search operation in the entire area. BSF personnel found the drone in pieces in the fields of Attari during the search.

A yellow bag was also found near the drone, which was sent along with the drone towards the Indian border. BSF personnel have taken possession of the bag and started investigation. After the investigation, when the bag was opened, a consignment of heroin was found in it. The total weight of which was 3.2 kg. Samples of drones and heroin will be taken by jawans and sent for investigation.

According to the information shared by the BSF, this is the first drone this month, which the jawans have destroyed. While before this on June 2 and 3, heroin consignments have been seized. On June 2, jawans recovered a consignment of 2.5 kg of heroin from village Chakheva in Fazilka. On June 3, jawans recovered a consignment of 5.5 kg of heroin from Rai village. According to the jawans, these consignments were also sent as drones.
