Pakistan Supreme Court on Imran’s Arrest: The Supreme Court of Pakistan has made a big comment on the arrest of former Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan and described the arrest as illegal.
While hearing the application of Imran Khan, the Supreme Court of Pakistan has strongly commented on the method of arrest and has also raised questions on the method of arrest. The Supreme Court has said that Imran Khan was arrested by spreading fear inside the court. The court has also reprimanded NAB for this. Along with this, the Supreme Court has also ordered Imran Khan to appear in the court within an hour.
The decision will come today
Justice Minlah reprimanded the National Accountability Bureau (NAB). NAB has been questioned as to why he needed to take the law into his hands. Imran was arrested during the ongoing hearing in the Al Qadir Trust case. A decision is expected on Thursday itself. Imran’s lawyer Hamid Khan was also present in the court. He informed the Supreme Court that Imran Khan was arrested when he approached the Islamabad High Court seeking bail before his arrest.
Method of arrest wrong
Justice Bandyal said, ‘The court will issue the correct order today itself.’ He also said that the Supreme Court is very serious about this whole matter. Justice Bandyal made it clear that PTI workers are not allowed to come to the court. The Attorney General said that Imran is currently in the custody of NAB.
