After the special court pronounced the sentence, PTI said that the legal team will challenge the verdict in the High Court and hope that the sentence will be suspended.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Secretary General Umar Ayub Khan questioned the court's decision on social media. Ayub Khan has appealed to all his workers to remain calm. He said that this decision of the court has come against Imran Khan Sahib and Shah Mehmood Qureshi Sahib. All PTI members and Pakistanis should keep calm about it.

Former Prime Minister Imran Khan and former Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi were named in the report, while the names of former Principal Secretary Azam Khan and former Planning Minister Asad Umar were also included.
