New Delhi: The dharna of wrestlers going on at Jantar Mantar is getting a lot of support from farmers’ organizations. Today, the Jatha of BKU Ugraha and Kirti Kisan Union has also reached Jantar Mantar, which includes a large number of farmers’ wives. Earlier, the police tried to stop this group at two places, but finally the group reached the protest site. In the meantime, it has been decided in the Khapan Mahapanchayat that on May 16, Haryana, U.P. And the Khap Panchayats of Rajasthan will stage massive protests at Delhi’s borders.

Farmer leader Joginder Singh Ugrahan while addressing a large gathering said to give full support to the Pahlavans and also demanded the arrest of the president of WFI.

The United Kisan Morcha (Non-Political) has also announced that a large contingent will reach Jantar Mantar, Delhi tomorrow on May 8 to support the wrestlers. After which security has been increased at many places including Jantar Mantar.

Along with this, Khap leaders have also reached Jantar Mantar in support of the wrestlers as the Maha Panchayat was invited here. Kisan leaders Naresh Tikait and Rajesh Tikait reached Jantar Mantar with their supporters. Seeing the barricading done by the police at various places, many khap leaders have reached Delhi with their groups by trains.

Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) president and BJP MP Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, who is facing allegations of sexual harassment, has been protesting at Jantar Mantar for the past several days demanding the arrest and dismissal of wrestlers.
