The reason for Navjot Kaur Sidhu’s anger

Internally, Sidhu family and his supporters also had full expectation of this. For this reason, even hoardings of his release were put up in Patiala and Ludhiana. Sidhu’s press conference was also arranged along with putting up tents at home but he could not be released. Due to which Navjot Kaur is very angry.

Punishment was done in road rage case
Navjot Sidhu was sentenced to 1 year imprisonment by the Supreme Court in a 34-year-old road rage case. In 1988, an elderly man was killed by Sidhu’s punch over parking in Patiala, Punjab. In this case, the High Court sentenced Sidhu to one year imprisonment.

However, the Supreme Court acquitted Sidhu of culpable homicide not amounting to murder and imposed a fine of one thousand rupees. In this case, the victim’s family filed a review petition. Hearing on which, on 19 May 2022, the Supreme Court sentenced Sidhu to one year imprisonment. Sidhu surrendered on 20 May.
