Ravneet Bittu, Member of Parliament from Ludhiana, met Railway Minister Ashwani Vaishnav. Meanwhile, he said that from Ludhiana to Jagraon and Khanna local A. C. The issue of running the train was raised because a large number of people come to Ludhiana from the adjoining areas of Jagraon and Khanna for daily work. By running local trains for these people, the shortage of metro can be completed and the problem of traffic jams and accidents will also be reduced.
Ravneet Bittu has staked a claim on the product of the renovation of the railway station that he had made a recommendation in this regard to the Railway Minister Piyush Goyal during 2020, based on which the railway officials held several meetings and site visits. Though the approval of the project and the start of work on the site was delayed due to Covid, but now the central government has allocated a fund of 478 crores for this project.

Bittu also recommended to the Railway Minister to expand the facilities at Dhandari Railway Station in accordance with the decision taken regarding the stoppage of trains during the commencement of the project of revitalization of the railway station so that the focal points alighting at Dhandari Railway Station can be expanded. Migrant workers working in the area adjacent to Point and Sahnewal should not face any problem.
