Maruti Suzuki Jimny 5 Door Fronx Receive 24500 Bookings How to Book Amount Rs 11K 25K Availability Specifications Details

Maruti Suzuki introduced the Jimny 5-door SUV and the Fronx at the 2023 Auto Expo in India. Now the company claims to have received around 6,500 bookings for the Fronx and around 18,000 for the Jimny 5-door, which means both the cars have received around 24,500 bookings since the bookings opened. Both the cars seem to be attracting the attention of Indians as last month the company had informed that both the cars had received 11,000 bookings in a week of opening the bookings.

The bookings for both the cars were opened on the day of their unveiling at the Auto Expo 2023. While the booking amount for the Jimny has been fixed at Rs 25,000, the Fronx can be booked for Rs 11,000. Bookings for both the cars are being taken online through the official website or offline at Nexa dealerships.

To book the Jimny 5-Door or Fronx online, you need to visit Nexaexperience.com. First of all, here you have to log in and then submit information like name, address and contact details. Next, you can select the model, variant and color option of the car and then you need to select your state, city and preferred dealership to take delivery. Lastly, you need to pay the booking amount by choosing one of the available payment options.

The 5-door Jimny is an extended version of the 3-door Jimny. It gets a 3-spoke steering wheel and a conventional twin-pod analogue instrument cluster. The center console houses a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity. The Jimny is powered by a 1.5-litre petrol engine, which is capable of generating maximum power of 103bhp and peak torque of 134.2Nm. This engine can be bought in 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic transmission. It also gets an on-wheel drive system.

The Maruti Suzuki Jimny will be offered in two variants – Zeta and Alfa. It gets features like automatic LED headlamps, electric ORVM, automatic climate control and cruise control. The SUV also gets safety features like 6-airbags, ABS with EBD, ESP, hill hold control, hill descent control and brake-limited slip differential.

Whereas, the Maruti Suzuki Fronx gets a 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine, which is capable of generating 98.6 Bhp power and 147.6 Nm peak torque. This engine is mated to 5-speed MT and 6-speed automatic transmission. It will also get a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that will generate 88.5 Bhp and 113 Nm and will come mated to a 5-speed MT/AMT.
