The largest automobile company of the country, Maruti Suzuki, is now going to do something that will strengthen its grip in every corner of the country. Customers from remote areas will now be able to buy a Maruti car in their area. In fact, Maruti Suzuki India is going to open 57 Nexa showrooms in the country by March 2025. This information was given by Shashank Srivastava, CEO Marketing and Sales of the company. He said that the sales of Maruti’s top end cars are continuously increasing, in such a situation the company has planned to open more outlets. Importantly, Nexa currently has 468 outlets in the country. Nexa’s first outlet was opened in July 2015 in Delhi’s Dwarka area.

According to a Business Standard report, Srivastava said that in July 2023, 31.9 percent of the company’s total sales came from Nexa, up from 22.4 percent for FY 2022-23. The company currently sells 17 of its cars from the Nexa showroom. These include Baleno, Ignis, Grand Vitara, Jimny, Franks, Ciaz, Invicto and XL6. Additionally, the company’s 9 vehicles are sold through 2,842 Arena outlets across the country.

Focus on suv
Over the past few years, the company has focused on making its presence felt in the SUV segment. The segment is growing very fast and the company has launched SUVs like the Grand Vitara, Jimny, Franks and recently the MPV Invicto priced at over 20 lakhs. According to the data of the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers, the company’s share in this sector has increased to 23.12 percent from only 17.4 percent a year ago in the first quarter of this financial year.
