Manisha Gulati got relief from the High Court

Manisha Gulati, the former chairperson of the Punjab Women’s Commission, has got a big relief from the High Court. The High Court has stayed the order to vacate the government house of Chandigarh Sector-39 of Gulati. Also, by issuing a notice to the Punjab government, it has been ordered to file the reply by September 14.

It may be mentioned that the Punjab government canceled the extension given to Manisha Gulati on the post of chairperson of the Punjab Women’s Commission and relieved her of her post. Then the High Court dismissed Gulati’s petition on March 28 and declared the Punjab government’s decision correct. Manisha Gulati appealed against the decision of the single bench in the double bench of the High Court. On this, the High Court issued a notice to the Punjab government and this petition is currently under consideration.

In a letter written by the Punjab government to Manisha Gulati on July 13, she was asked to vacate the official residence of Sector-39 as she is not in service as the Chairperson of the Punjab Women’s Commission. Manisha Gulati filed an application against him in the High Court. On this, the High Court has issued a notice to the Punjab government, restraining the order to vacate the house and sought its response.
