Manish Sisodia : The Aam Aadmi Party will hold a nationwide protest on Monday against the arrest of Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia in the alleged liquor excise policy case in Delhi. News agency ANI reported that the party will hold a protest at the BJP headquarters in the national capital around 12 noon. The CBI arrested Sisodia on Sunday after eight hours of questioning. The probe agency’s spokesperson said in a statement that the Delhi Deputy CM gave evasive answers and did not cooperate with the probe despite evidence to the contrary.

‘Black day for democracy’

After the arrest, Aam Aadmi Party has reacted and said that it is a black day for democracy. Aam Aadmi Party MP Sanjay Singh said that the arrest of Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia is the culmination of dictatorship. At the same time, Raghav Chadda has also said that the locks of the jail will be broken, Manish Sisodia will be released.

‘If you have committed a scam, you will have to go to jail’

Aam Aadmi Party has said that BJP is afraid of Kejriwal and Sisodia, this is the result of that. At the same time, BJP has said that if there is a scam, then you will have to go to jail. Whereas Arvind Kejriwal said that Manish is innocent. His arrest is dirty politics. There is a lot of anger among the people due to the arrest of Manish. Everyone is watching. People are understanding everything. People will respond to this. This will boost our spirits further. Our struggle will get stronger.

BJP targeted Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal

Soon after Sisodia was arrested by the CBI, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) launched its attack on Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, terming him the ‘real kingpin’ of the excise scam, and saying ‘he was next.’ Based on L-G Vinay Kumar Saxena’s recommendation for a CBI probe into the ‘excise policy scam’ since July last year, the BJP has gradually stepped up its attack on the Delhi government over allegations of alleged corruption.
