Maharashtra: Shiv Sena In view of Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray’s leader Sanjay Raut alleging that Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde’s son was in danger of life, Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said that the Rajya Sabha member has a habit of making allegations without thinking. But, still the letter will be sent to the concerned authorities for review.

Allegations of ‘threat to life’ from Shinde’s son

Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) leader Sanjay Raut had written a letter to the police alleging ‘threat to life’ from the son of Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. An MLA from the Shinde camp has called it a “cheap gimmick”. When asked about the letter, Fadnavis said – Raut is making allegations without thinking and we do not understand what to answer them. Earlier we used to reply to their allegations. He said that Rajya Sabha members are trying to get sympathy.

creating sensation by making allegations

Devendra Fadnavis said- I think he is creating sensation by making such allegations. They would think that this would get them some sympathy, but making false allegations does not get you sympathy. Fadnavis took a dig at Raut and said that he makes allegations only for publicity. Earlier, Raut had said in his letter- “Lok Sabha member Shrikant Shinde (son of Eknath Shinde) has given supari to a Thane criminal Raja Thakur to kill me.” I have solid information in this regard. I am informing you as a responsible citizen.

Complaints should be taken seriously

Sanjay Raut has made these allegations in a letter written to the Mumbai Police Commissioner, copies of which were also sent to Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, who is in charge of the Home Department, and Thane city police. On a question related to Raut’s letter, former Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray’s son and MLA Aditya Thackeray said – The complaint should be taken seriously. Unfortunately, there is absolutely no control over these traitor MLAs (from the Shinde camp). An MLA had fired in Mahim area of Mumbai, but no action was taken.

Raut is adopting cheap tactics to gain sympathy

Sanjay Shirsat, an MLA from Eknath Shinde’s group, said- Raut is adopting cheap tactics to gain sympathy. There is no doubt that this matter should be thoroughly investigated. However, do not forget that Raut keeps adopting a lot of gimmicks, in which there is no fact. He said- I believe that Shrikant Shinde will never do this, still the investigation can be started.
