Mumbai: The Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) on Wednesday hit out at the Maharashtra government over the alleged leak of question papers for the Higher Secondary School (HSC) examination, saying a new trend of passing the examinations through illegal means has started in the state. .

Shiv Sena’s (UBT) mouthpiece ‘Saamana’ has written in an editorial that all the results from the judiciary to the Election Commission have been leaked. His apparent reference was to the Election Commission’s decision to allot the name ‘Shiv Sena’ and the ‘bow and arrow’ election symbol to the rival camp led by Chief Minister Eknath Shinde.

It is written in it that questions have been raised regarding the degrees of some leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Taking a dig at the Shinde government, he said, “After the new government came to power in the state, the practice of passing examinations illegally has started.” The Uddhav-led Shiv Sena asked when the ‘real culprits’ would be questioned.

‘Saamana’ wrote, “When there is an incompetent government, a non-serious education minister and a poor administration, question papers are bound to leak in the state.” Last week, a case was registered by the police in Buldhana district after the HSC Mathematics question paper was leaked and its picture surfaced on social media. An official had given this information.
