The accused presented themselves as a multinational company to provide technical services. They cheated foreigners of money.
All the mobile phones used in it have been seized by the police. The arrested gang members were from Meghalaya, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Himachal, Nagaland, Delhi and Punjab.

Police Commissioner Mandeep Singh Sandhu said that the police had received a tip-off that Chandu Lal Chop of Krishna Colony, Bapu Nagar, Ahmedabad, Gujarat and Sachin Singh of Uttar Pradesh were running call centers illegally along with some women. The members of the gang used to cheat and mislead people by calling them abroad.
Issued phone number +14258828080 and toll fee number 1800-102-1100 claiming to be MICROSOFT HQ APPLE CUSTOMER PLATFORM REPORT FACILITY. On this number, people living abroad used to call about technical problems in the computer system. After which the accused used to hack the system. By telling him about the IP address and the system being hacked, by obtaining personal banking information, they used to steal money from the bank account by obtaining the number that is recorded on the gift card.
Call center in rented premises
The accused had taken a room on rent. When the police raided, 27 people were caught. 2 girls were also included in the accused. The mastermind of this gang was a person named Cheri and Paul. Both of them used to show the dream of becoming rich as soon as possible to the respective families. Apart from this there was another brothel called Elks which paid wages to girls and boys. Cherry, Paul, Alex have been nominated in this case. The age of the arrested accused is between 20 to 25 years. The arrested accused are 10th to 12th pass. All the accused are from 7 different cities.
10 thousand dollars a night fraud
