Ludhiana: Deteriorated health of female students after vaccination in school, admitted to hospital

A senior secondary school in Ludhiana erupted into chaos after 12 schoolgirls fainted after receiving a tetanus shot. A vaccination camp was organized at Government Girls Senior Secondary School Machiwara. After receiving the injection, she felt dizzy and fainted.

The health department team administered vaccinations to 150 girl students in the school. Out of which 12 female students started feeling dizzy. The female students include Manpreet Kaur of village Burj Pawat, Amandeep Kaur of village Garhi Bet, Jaspreet Kaur of village Mand Sekhewal, Manpreet Kaur of village Jharaudi, Shehnaaz of Machhiwara, Harpreet Kaur of village Melewal, Khushi of Machhiwara and 5 other female students.

All the girl students were taken to the hospital. As soon as the information was received, the parents of the girl students reached the hospital. In anger, he demanded answers from the doctors and officials. The doctors assured them that the condition of the girl students is stable and they are being treated.

Dr. Rishabh Dutt and Dr. Manjinder, who are treating the female students, said that following the instructions of the government, the vaccination camp was organized by the department in the school. After first aid, the girls have been sent to their homes. Only 12 girls fainted, while all the girls vaccinated with him are fine. A team of doctors is trying to find out the reason.
