Late singer Labh Janjua’s wife passed away

Daljeet Kaur Janjua (45), wife of Khanna’s late singer Labh Janjua, who made a splash in Bollywood with her voice, died in a road accident. Daljit Kaur was hit by an unknown vehicle at Mandi Gobindgarh. The accident happened late Sunday night.

Daljit Kaur was returning to Khanna in a bus after meeting her relatives. Due to darkness, she got down at Mandi Gobindgarh by mistake. Meanwhile, a speeding vehicle hit Daljit Kaur. Daljit Kaur Janjua was cremated at Khanna crematorium on Monday.

The sad thing is that many celebrities from Bollywood and Pollywood reached Khanna on the death of Labh Janjua. He had given the courage to share in the joy and sorrow while consoling the family. Not a single artist came to the funeral of Janjua’s wife. Apart from this, none of the dignitaries of the city also joined the final journey. Baljinder Singh Janjua, son of Labh Janjua, offered fire to his mother’s pyre in the presence of 10 to 15 people.

After the funeral, none of the benefactors reached Janjua’s home to express their condolences. Son Baljinder Singh Janjua said that after the death of his father, mother used to do all the work. He studies in 10th standard. Mother Daljit Kaur went to relatives. Didn’t come till late at night. He was calling continuously. At around 1 o’clock in the night, someone picked up the phone and told that his mother had died at Mandi Gobindgarh. Then he went to the hospital and was cremated.

Labh Janjua became very popular with the song ‘London Thumkada’ from the movie Queen. Janjua has starred in Bollywood in ‘O Yara Dhol Baja Ke’ (Dhol, 2007), ‘Sohni De Nakhre’ (Partner, 2007), ‘Pyar Karke Pachataye’ (Shaadi De Side Effects, 2006), ‘Ji Karte Ji Karte’ ( Singh Is King, 2008), ‘Bari Barsi’ (Band Baaja Baaraat, 2010) and ‘Dil Kare Chu Cha’ (Singh Is Bling, 2015). Bollywood singer Labh Janjua died on 22 October 2015. His body was found in a house located in Bangur Nagar area of โ€‹โ€‹Goregaon, Mumbai. Janjua was also known as a bhangra and hip hop singer.
