The worker got stuck in a depth of about 18 meters. The work of evacuating him is going on. The person trapped in the bore has been identified as Suresh. Giving information in this regard, the worker’s partner said that both of them were working together. Meanwhile, he came out five minutes ago. His other companion was inside when the sand fell on him. The depth of the bore is about 18 meters.

ADC Jalandhar Amit Mahajan, who reached the spot, said that he received information at 10.30 pm that a laborer has got stuck in a bore during the ongoing work of the National Highway. Sand has fallen on him. The team is working together to save him.

Meanwhile, Cabinet Minister Balkar Singh, who reached the spot, said that he immediately reached the spot as soon as he got the information. The Deputy Commissioner has deployed rescue teams and we are trying to get the person out as soon as possible.
