Ingredients for making crispy bhindi
Okra – half kg
Gram flour – 1/4 cup
Rice flour – 1/4 cup
Cumin powder – 1/2 tsp
Coriander powder – 1/2 tsp
Turmeric – 1/4 tsp
Kashmiri red chili powder – 1 tsp
Chaat masala – 1/2 tsp
Lemon juice – 1 tsp
oil – as needed
salt – as per taste

Crispy Bhindi Recipe
To make crispy bhindi full of taste, first wash the bhindi and wipe it thoroughly with cotton cloth. After this cut the bhindi into thick strips and remove the seeds. Now put the chopped okra in a bowl and add turmeric, red chili powder, cumin powder, coriander powder and chaat masala to it and mix everything well with the okra. After this add 1 tsp lemon juice and a little salt to the bhindi and let it marinate for 10 minutes.

After 10 minutes, take the marinated bhindi and add gram flour and rice flour in the bowl and mix it well with the bhindi. Keep in mind that flour and gram flour should be well coated on the bhindi. For this, add 2 teaspoons of oil to the spices and mix, due to this the coating of the mixture will be done properly. No need to add extra water for coating. The moisture will be retained by leaving the salt water.

Now put oil in a pan and heat it on medium flame. After the oil is hot, add the coated bhindi and deep fry it well. Fry the bhindi on medium flame while stirring. When the bhindi becomes crisp and golden, turn off the gas and put the bhindi on kitchen paper and leave it for some time. This will remove excess oil. Finally, sprinkle a pinch of chaat masala on top. Tasty crispy bhindi is ready to serve.
