Dry coriander half cup

ground black pepper a teaspoon
ground coriander one teaspoon
Chili flakes 1 tsp
asafoetida half teaspoon
big cardamom 8 to 10
Small cardamom 10 to 12
cloves 5 to 6

  1. To make this, first wash the urad dal thoroughly in a bowl and soak it in water.
  2. After soaking in water for 6 to 8 hours, a layer of foam will appear on the top of the dal.

  4. To check this, take water in a bowl and put a pinch of dal paste in it. If the paste floats to the top, then your solution has been prepared correctly.
  5. On the other hand, roast all the whole spices including fennel, cardamom, black pepper and coriander. If you want, you can also roast them in a pan on low flame.
  6. Remove the skins of the big cardamom present in these spices and separate them. Coarsely grind all the roasted spices together.

  9. You keep it in the sun daily for 5 to 6 days and dry it. Apart from this, turn them after being continuously in the sun for 6 to 8 hours, so that they dry easily. Now you can store it in an air tight box and enjoy it for the next three to four months.
