Kartik Aaryan Starrer Shehzada Recovered Rs 65 Crore Before Release OTT Rights Sold to Netflix Details

Kartik Aaryan’s ‘Shehzada’ is going to release this Friday. The trailer of the film got a tremendous response, but the advance booking is a bit slow at the moment. It is being speculated that the release of Kartik’s film along with Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is the reason for this slow advance booking. However, the latest claims suggest that the film has already earned more than half of its total budget. Apart from this, it has also been informed that the OTT rights of the film have been sold to Netflix.

According to trade analyst Nishit Shaw, Shehzada The budget is 85 crores, which includes production cost of 65 crores and publicity/advertising cost of 20 crores. Even though the advance booking of the film is a bit slow, but in terms of recovery, the film has recovered more than half of the money. Shaw has told that the music rights and satellite rights of the film have been sold together for Rs 10 crore each.

Apart from this, the OTT rights have reportedly been sold to Netflix for 40 crores. The cost of foreign rights is said to be 5 crores. All this adds up to Rs 65 crore, which means that 76% of the film’s budget has already been recovered.
