Kapil added, “The courage Ginny showed before the wedding was a big step. She belongs to a good family. In our families it is a big deal for a girl to live with a boy before marriage, but Ginny kept everything aside for me and she came to me.
Ginny told me, ‘I want you to be right. I don’t care if we get married or not, you get well and then I’ll go back.’ If I am well today, it is because of Ginny that I am out of that bad period. He had a big hand in getting me out.”
The comedian said that after coming out of this bad period, many things stopped affecting him. He had stopped paying attention to what trolls were writing about him on social media, what people were saying about him.
“Since I came back, there are a lot of things that have stopped affecting me,” he said. I don’t care what people are writing about me on social media. I’m fine, my family is fine, my mother is fine… that’s it. That’s all I want.’
