Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said in a message that- It is a matter of great pleasure that Jio Network is launching its 5G services in Haridwar today, spreading the 5G services started from Dehradun city of Uttarakhand state. . With the start of this service, not only the entire public of Haridwar will be benefited, but also the devotees of the Char Dham Yatra, which is going to start in the coming future, including the devotees coming from India and abroad to Dharma Nagar Haridwar. Explaining further, he said that- It is commendable to provide 5G services facilities by Jio network before Char Dham Yatra. At the same time, the implementation of this facility in the proposed G-20 conference in Rishikesh, which will start in the near future, will help in giving proper representation to the state as Digital Devbhoomi.
The only 5G service provider in Haridwar
Reliance Jio is the only network provider in Haridwar which has provided 5G services there. From the state capital Dehradun to Mana, the last Indian village of Uttarakhand on the Indo-Tibet border, Jio’s network is very strong in the entire state. Jio is the only operator in the state, which is offering its services in all the Char Dhams, on the trek route to Shri Kedarnath Dham and Shri Hemkund Sahib Gurudwara located at an altitude of 13,650 meters. Not only this, Reliance Jio has reached a total of 226 cities in the country so far.
