He said that this decision will directly benefit a total of 545 beneficiaries, including freedom fighters themselves, widows of late freedom fighters or their unmarried and unemployed daughters or sons. He said that this step is proof of the government’s commitment to recognize and pay homage to the sacrifices of these freedom fighters, ensuring that their legacy lives on in the hearts and minds of all Punjabis.
