Amritsar: The birth anniversary of Shri Guru Harikrishna Sahib Ji has been celebrated with great devotion and enthusiasm. On this holy day, thousands of people from the country and abroad paid obeisance to the Guru Ghar in Sri Darbar Sahib. On this occasion, Jathedar Singh Sahib Giani Raghbir Singh of Sri Akal Takht Sahib congratulated all the Sikhs on the birth anniversary of Sri Guru Harikrishna Sahib Ji.
He informed about the history of Sri Guru Harikrishna Sahib. He said that Sri Guru Harikrishna Sahib Ji was born in the house of the seventh Patshah Sri Guru Hari Rai Ji in 1656 AD at Kiratpur Sahib. Sri Guru Harkrishna is known as ‘Bal Guru’ or ‘Bala Pritam’
Jathedar Sahib said that Sri Guru Harikrishna Sahib ji showed the path of truth to countless people in his short life, removed the illusions of people who were in illusions. He said that Sri Guru Harikrishna Sahib ji did many works for the welfare of humanity. The Jathedar has appealed to all the Sangat to become Guru Wale by following Khande Bate and asked them to recite Gurbani.
