Amritsar: Jathedar Sri Akal Sahib Giani Harpreet Singh has expressed concern over the incidents of blasphemy happening continuously in Punjab. He has said that the incident that happened today at the sacred place associated with Chote Sahibjada in Morinda is very unfortunate and heart-wrenching.
Pathi Singhs were also abused by a person in the presence of Sri Guru Granth Sahib, which is a matter of great concern. Jathedar Sri Akal Takht Sahib has also demanded severe punishment to the accused and has said that only in this way these incidents can be stopped.

Speaking about the incident of blasphemy in district Faridkot, Jathedar Mr. Akal Takht has said that both the accused arrested from here are related to Christianity. He has described this entire incident as an attempt to spoil the peaceful atmosphere of Punjab.
