Bureau report : After Barnala, now a case of horror killing has come to light in Tarn Taran as well. The incident happened in Saudpur village of Patti Vidhan Sabha constituency. The deceased youth was accused of running away with a girl. The accused who fired the bullets escaped and the people around took the young man to the hospital but the doctors declared him brought dead. The deceased has been identified as Jagroop Singh. It is being told that Jagdeep Singh of Golia village along with his colleagues ran it.
Expelled the enemy to drive away the sister
The people of the village say that Jagrup had a relationship with a girl in the village, a few months ago Jagrup and that girl ran away from home. Later the family caught both of them. After this, the village panchayat was held and the girl was sent home and an agreement was reached between the two parties.
Jagroop’s father Harbhajan Singh said that Jagdeep had a grudge against his sister’s abductor, however despite the agreement between both sides, Jagdeep saw the opportunity and shot Jagroop dead in the playground with his friends. The father has demanded strict action against the accused.
