Anupam added in the same interview, ‘However, I would love to win a National Award for my acting as it is undoubtedly one of my best performances. But as I have already said that if all the wishes are fulfilled then how will it be fun to work further.

On the other hand, the director of the film, Vivek Agnihotri, has expressed his happiness on receiving this award. “I am very happy with this award,” he said. Especially for the Kashmiri Hindu community because in the film we have shown their pain and struggle. Glad no one will question the authenticity of this film now.

Anupam will be seen in ‘Emergency’
On the work front, Anupam is currently shooting for the Kangana Ranaut-directed film ‘Emergency’. While Kangana will be seen in the role of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in the film, Anupam will be seen in the role of Jaiprakash Narayan. This film will be released in theaters on November 24.

Along with this, Vivek Agnihotri’s next film ‘The Vaccine War’ will be released in theaters on September 28.
