Indian Premier League 2024 schedule has been announced, IPL will start from March 22. The first match will be played in Chennai between Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore. The schedule of 21 matches has been released on Thursday, due to the Lok Sabha elections, the schedule of the remaining matches will be released later. The IPL will start from Friday, while the double header matches will be played on Saturday and Sunday only.
So far, only the schedule has been released from March 22 to April 7, during which there will be a total of 4 double headers. This time the Delhi Capitals team will play two matches in Visakhapatnam, which will be its home ground. If we talk about the timings of IPL, the evening matches will start at 7.30 pm, while the afternoon matches will start at 3.30 pm.

March 23- Punjab Kings vs Delhi Capitals
March 23- Kolkata Knight Riders vs Sunrisers Hyderabad
March 24- Rajasthan Royals vs Lucknow Super Giants
March 24- Gujarat Titans vs Mumbai Indians
March 31- Gujarat Titans vs Sunrisers Hyderabad
March 31- Delhi Capitals vs Chennai Super Kings
April 7- Mumbai Indians vs Delhi Capitals
April 7- Lucknow Supergiants vs Gujarat Titans
The country is due to hold Lok Sabha elections in April-May 2024, so the full IPL schedule has not been released yet due to security reasons. After the Lok Sabha election dates are announced and it will be clear when and in which constituencies the voting will take place, the rest of the program will be announced accordingly.
A total of 74 matches will be played in IPL 2024, currently only 21 matches have been released. There are a total of 10 teams in the IPL, last season was won by Chennai Super Kings. This season will be special for CSK this time as well, as this could be Mahendra Singh Dhoni's last IPL.
