Investigation agency will question Imran Khan's wife, asked to bring with jewelry

Pakistan (Pakistan) Anti-corruption agency National Accountability Bureau has summoned Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan's wife in the Toshakhana case. NAB Rawalpindi issued a notice to Bushra Bibi on December 11 at 11 am (local time) in connection with the Toshakhana case. According to media reports, Bushra Bibi has also been asked to bring a gold necklace, diamond ring and bracelet with her.

No details of gift kept from Toshakhane

According to media reports, the reference filed by MPs of the then ruling coalition in 2022 alleged that the PTI chairman did not furnish details about the gifts he kept from Toshakhana during his tenure as Pakistan's prime minister.

However, later, the Islamabad High Court suspended Imran Khan's sentence and granted him bail. Along with this, the special court has ordered the former Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan to be kept in judicial custody in the Zifar case.

Meanwhile, Imran Khan has filed a petition in the Lahore High Court (LHC) challenging the decision to disqualify the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) for five years, according to media reports.

Imran disqualified

ECP was named as respondent in the petition. It urged the court to declare the election watchdog's notification disqualifying Imran Khan as “illegal, illegal and unconstitutional”.

On August 8, the ECP disqualified Imran Khan for five years after he was convicted in the Toshakhana case for not sharing details of gifts received during his tenure as Pakistan's prime minister.
