Indian student sentenced to 6 years and 9 months in Britain, rape of woman, caught in CCTV footage

Indian Student in UK: A shocking case has come out of Britain. Here an Indian student took a drunk woman to his flat and raped her. The incident has been captured in CCTV footage. According to a BBC report, the name of this Indian student is Preet Vikas. His age is 20 years.

According to the police, he has confessed to his crime based on the evidence presented in the court. In several CCTV footages, he was seen carrying a young woman on his shoulder.

According to the report, the youth used to study in Britain. South Wales Police (Cordiff) tweeted that Preet Vikas was seen carrying an intoxicated girl from Cardiff city center in his arms and shoulders to his flat. There he raped the woman. Vikas has been sentenced to prison by the British Young Offenders Institute for this crime.

The victim said that she met Preet Vikas when she went out with her friends at night. She said that she could not sleep after this incident that happened in June last year. She said that at night when she separated from her friends and started going to her house, Vikas caught her. After this, he took her to a flat in North Road area and raped her.

The development could be identified due to CCTV footage

South Wales Police said CCTV footage led to the identification and arrest of Preet Vikas. South Wales Police said such attacks are highly unusual in Cardiff but Preet Vikas took advantage of a drunken and vulnerable woman who had become separated from her friends.
