PM Modi is on a visit to UAE and 'Ahlan Modi' program was organized to welcome PM Modi at Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday 13 February. The Prime Minister has announced that the UPI system will be operational in UAE very soon and similar facilities will be available here as people are getting UPI services in India. It will become very easy for people to transact. The connection of digital payment systems between the two countries will usher in a new era in fintech.

The Prime Minister said that the UAE is now India's third largest trading partner and seventh largest investor. “Both countries are partnering for ease of living and ease of doing business,” he said. PM Modi said, “The goal of every Indian today is to make India a developed country by 2047. Our India is witnessing strong economic growth and our India is leading the global discourse on many fronts.”

Recalling his first visit to the UAE in 2015, PM Modi said that at that time he was new to the central government and it was the first visit by an Indian Prime Minister to the UAE in three decades. “This is my seventh visit to the UAE in 10 years since then,” he recalled. I am very grateful to each and every one of you.” Prime Minister Modi said that he has been honored with the UAE's highest civilian honor 'Order of Zayed'. He said that this is not only my honor but also the honor of 140 crore Indians.
