Due to this, a tech staffing firm has revealed that currently more than 45 thousand professionals are needed in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in India. In these, it has been said for Machine Learning Specialist that they can be given an initial salary package of up to Rs 14 lakh, which can go up to Rs 45 lakh.

IANS’s Report According to the company, there is a huge demand for Data Scientists and Machine Learning (ML) Engineers in the field of AI in India. The report states that in the recent past, emphasis has been placed on machine learning applications, due to which there is a need for professionals in artificial intelligence who can do scripting languages, build ML models, etc. Presently these skills are the most demanding in this sector.

AI The field of medicine is considered to be very large in which there is a demand for Clinical Data Analyst, Medical Imaging Specialist, Health Informatics Analyst in Healthcare. At the same time, there is a demand for EdTech Product Manager, AI Learning Architect, AI Curriculum Developer, Chatbot Developer in Education. BFSI requires Fraud Analyst, Credit Risk Analyst, Compliance Specialist. While in manufacturing there are roles open for Industrial Data Scientist, QC Analyst, Process Automation Specialist, Robotics Engineer and in Retail for Retail Data Analyst, IT Process Modeler, Digital Imaging Leader etc.

As per reports, the starting salary package for Machine Learning Specialist can be Rs 14 lakh per annum. On the other hand, Data Architects can get a package of up to Rs 12 lakh. On the other hand, if the candidate has an experience of up to 8 years, then he can also be offered a package ranging from Rs 25 lakh to Rs 45 lakh.

According to a survey conducted by TeamLease Digital, 37% of companies want to make AI tools available to their employees. While 30% of companies believe that AI learning is essential for employees to bring out their hidden talents. At the same time, 56% of the companies say that necessary steps should be taken to reduce the growing demand-supply gap for AI talent.
