The minimum support price of tur dal, urad dal, paddy and maize has been increased. The Cabinet has approved an increase in the minimum support price of tuar dal by Rs 400 per quintal. After which now the minimum support price of tur di dal has been increased to Rs 7,000 per quintal.
Similarly, an increase in the minimum support price of urad dal by Rs 350 per quintal has been approved, after which it has been increased to Rs 6950 per quintal. It has been approved to increase the minimum support price of maize by Rs 128 per quintal and the minimum support price of paddy by Rs 143 per quintal. Along with this, there is a wave of happiness among the farmers with this news. Farmers have appreciated this step of the central government.
