Bureau Report: A group of 120 women sportsmen traveling from Amritsar to Madhya Pradesh in a train in Ludhiana on Wednesday suffered a terrible fate. According to preliminary investigation, the children are residents of Rajgarh, Betul, Singraula, Dhara and Bhopal. Ludhiana Civil Hospital is investigating the food eaten by the players. According to the information, the sportspersons who performed well in various sports of Madhya Pradesh were brought to the Amritsar Wagha border under a group culture exchange program. On his way back from Wagha border, he had packed food from a hotel in Amritsar. Then they sat in the Amritsar Madhya Pradesh train. When the girls ate the packed food, the health of the children in Jalandhar started to deteriorate, one after another the girls fainted. No one was understanding anything. After eating food, the condition of 20 players worsened. There was commotion in the train, seeing the players fainting, the railway officers were informed.
As soon as the train stopped at the Ludhiana railway station, officials were already stationed there, a team of doctors was present on the spot, many were admitted to the civil hospital of Ludhiana. A player said that a teacher from a hotel in Amritsar took vegetables, puri, khichdi and dal for him. It seemed as if the khichdi was bad but the children paid attention due to which the health of 15 to 20 children deteriorated.
