The accused lived in a rented house
The Sadar police of Ludhiana Police Commissionerate have registered an FIR against the accused Karamveer Singh, which has been identified as Karamvir Singh, a resident of Rohano Kalan, a village in Khanna, who is living in a rented house in village Bulara.
3 months ago, a teenager ran away from home with parents
The victim’s teenager has said in her statement that about three months ago her parents had assaulted her over something. She left the house in anger and went to the village Bulara and started living with the accused.
The victim alleged that the accused started raping her by taking her hostage in the room. When he protested, the accused beat him badly. The girl also said that the accused did not allow her to go out. Apart from this, he told that on March 16, when he opposed the atrocities committed by the accused, he beat him up badly and left the village Rohano Khurd and ran away. She returned home and filed a complaint with Khanna police.
Raids continue to arrest the accused
ASI Sunil Kumar, in -charge of the Marado Police Outpost, said that Sadar Khanna police have registered FIRs under Section 115 (2) (voluntarily hurt), 127 (2) (wrongly hostage), 64 (rape), 351 (3) (3) (Criminal intimidation) BNS and Section 6 of Section 6 of the Act. Khanna police has sent zero FIR to him for further action. He said that the search for the arrest of the accused is going on.
