Lucknow: Capital Lucknow Police has swung into action after incidents of brawls and brawls on the streets of drunken youths and strict instructions have been issued. Lucknow Joint Commissioner of Police Law and Order Piyush Mordia has issued instructions in this regard. The incidents of youths creating ruckus in the city under the influence of alcohol are increasing day by day in the capital. Drunk youths are seen fighting everyday in bars, restaurants and hotels. This strict decision has been taken regarding this.

According to the instructions of Piyush Mordia, if anyone sells or buys beer or other intoxicants to a youth under 21 years of age in all hotels, restaurants, bars or other places, strict legal action will be taken against the manager and owner of the concerned establishment. Notices have to be pasted inside and outside the establishment or shop for warning.

JCP Piyush Mordia has said that after consuming drugs at hotels, bars, restaurants, liquor shops, if any incident of fighting and other emergency occurs, then the manager will also be responsible for it. To avoid this, the owner and manager must install CCTV cameras and security personnel.

These instructions will have to be strictly followed, otherwise legal action will be taken

  • Selling liquor to youth below 21 years of age is prohibited in all hotels, restaurants, bars, liquor shops.

  • If at any place youth below the age of 21 years are found buying liquor, beer and consuming it, then legal action will be taken against the manager/owner of the concerned establishment.

  • Managers of hotels, restaurants, bars, liquor shops will paste a notice inside or outside of their place not to sell liquor to a person below 21 years of age in such a way that it can be read easily.

  • It is necessary to install CCTV cameras and private security personnel at hotels, restaurants, bars, liquor shops to prevent incidents of fighting after consuming alcohol.

  • Outside liquor shops, malls, bars and restaurants, customers often park their vehicles here and there, causing difficulties to the general public. That’s why it is the responsibility of the managers and operators of the establishments to deploy their guards for vehicle parking and make arrangements for the parking of vehicles in an orderly manner.

  • If the case of liquor being sold or consumed by teenagers at hotels, restaurants, liquor shops comes to light, it will be considered a criminal act. Strict action will be taken on this.
