Narinderjit Singh Bindra, president of Gurdwara Sri Hemkunt Sahib Management Trust, said in a statement that this year it has been decided to close the cupboards of Sri Hemkunt Sahib on October 11 at 1 pm. He said that this year’s Yatra will end with the closure of Kapat.

Bindra said that so far this year 2 lakh 27 thousand 500 devotees have attended the Guru’s court and offered obeisance. He said that with the beginning of the season, the number of pilgrims is increasing.

He appealed to the passengers and said that there is little time left before the closure of the lockers, so the pilgrims who want to travel should travel on time. Shri Bindra said that helicopter service has been resumed from Govindghat to Ghanagharia for the convenience of pilgrims, while langar and night rest facilities are also available in all Gurdwaras and Dharamshalas of the Trust outside Haridwar.
