Ingredients to make Rajma Masala
Rajma – 1 cup
Onion – 1
Tomato puree – 2 cups
Ginger-garlic paste – 1 tsp
Green chili – 2
Green coriander chopped – 2 tbsp
Red chili powder – 1 tsp
Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
Turmeric – 1/2 tsp
Coriander powder – 1 tsp
Cumin powder – 1/2 tsp
Dry mango – 1/2 tsp
Garam masala – 1/2 tsp
Kasuri fenugreek – 1 tsp
Desi ghee – 1 tbsp
Cloves – 4-5
Cinnamon – 1 inch piece
Bay leaf – 1
Black cardamom – 1
salt – as per taste

How to make Rajma Masala
To make Tasty Rajma Masala, first take Rajma, clean it and soak it in water overnight. In the morning put the soaked kidney beans in the cooker and add black cardamom, bay leaf, one teaspoon salt and water as required and cook till 6-7 whistles. After this, turn off the gas and let the pressure of the cooker release on its own.

Now put desi ghee in a pan and heat it on medium flame. After melting the ghee, add cinnamon, cloves and cumin seeds and fry them. When cumin starts crackling, add finely chopped onion and cook it. Then add ginger-garlic paste and chopped green chillies and fry them all. When the color of onion turns light brown, mix tomato puree in it. Now let the puree cook while stirring with a ladle. It may take 10-12 minutes for the puree to thicken.

When the gravy starts leaving ghee, slow down the gas flame. After this, mix red chili powder, coriander powder, turmeric, garam masala and dry mango powder in the gravy. Now open the lid of the cooker, take out the Rajma and put it in the pan and mix it well with the gravy. Now cover the pan and let the Rajma cook for 15 minutes. During this, stir Rajma once or twice in between.
After 15 minutes, remove the lid of the pan and add kasoori fenugreek and finely chopped green coriander to the rajma masala and mix. Tasty Rajma Masala is ready for lunch and dinner. Serve it with roti, paratha or rice.
