Fennel seeds – 2 tsp
Poppy seeds – 1 tsp
Almonds – 1/2 cup
Cashew – 1/2 cup
Magaj seeds – 2 tsp
Cardamom – 2-3
Black pepper – 1 tsp

If you are making paan thandai for Holi celebration, first wash and clean the betel leaves and then cut them into small pieces after wiping them with a dry cloth. After this, chop cashews and almonds as well. Now take a big vessel and put poppy seeds, cardamom, cashew nuts, almonds, magaj seeds, fennel, rose petals and black pepper in it. After this add water to it and keep all the ingredients soaked in water for about 2 hours.
After the fixed time, take out all the ingredients and shift them in the mixer grinder. After this put the betel leaves in the mixer jar. Add sugar as per taste and grind it well by closing the lid. If the ingredients seem excessive, then instead of blending it in one go, you can grind it in two or three times. When the paste of all the ingredients is ready, take them out and keep them separately in a vessel.
