Ingredients for making gourd peel chutney
Bottle gourd peels (soaked in water) – 1 cup
Tomato – 2
Sesame – 100 grams
Red chili powder – 1 tsp
Sugar – 2 tsp
Garlic cloves – 4-5
Oil – 1 tbsp
salt – as per taste

How to make gourd peel chutney
To make gourd peel chutney, first wash the gourd peels with clean water and keep them soaked in water for half an hour. When the peels become soft, take them out of the water and cut them into pieces. After this, cut tomatoes and garlic into fine pieces. Now put 1 tbsp oil in a pan and heat it on medium flame. When the oil becomes hot, add chopped tomatoes and gourd peels to it, mix and fry for 5 minutes while stirring.

After frying gourd peels and tomatoes for 5 minutes, add red chilli powder, chopped garlic pieces and salt as per taste. Now while stirring the mixture let it cook for 2 more minutes. After this turn off the gas. When the mixture cools down, shift it into a mixer jar and grind it finely. Now take out the chutney in a bowl and mix sesame seeds over it. If you want, you can also add roasted sesame seeds. Tasty gourd peel chutney is ready for lunch and dinner. Serve it with roti, paratha or rice.
