Try FSSAI’s purity test
The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) has also shared a video explaining how to identify real and fake flour. For this, take a little flour in the test tube. Now add little water to it. Then add 3-4 drops of hydrochloric acid to the flour and shake it well. Now dip the turmeric paper strip in this mixture. In such a situation, when the color of the paper stick turns red, then understand that boric acid has been mixed in the flour. Tell that, boric acid is a type of antiseptic medicine, which is used to kill germs. In such a situation, people can fall ill by eating this flour.
