It is said that Oceansat-3 is a type of nanosatellite. It was deployed last year. There are three major instruments in the satellite. These include- Ocean Color Monitor (OCM-3), Sea Surface Temperature Monitor (SSTM), Ku-band Scatterometer (SCAT-3). Apart from this, the ARGOS system is also included in this satellite.
