Punjab government has decided to start token system in service centers. Without any token no facility will be available anymore. Punjab Governance Reforms and Public Grievance Redressal Minister Aman Arora announced this.

Cabinet Minister Aman Arora said that complaints were received that some officials and employees try to put pressure on the staff of service centers to do their work without putting numbers. If such a complaint is received against anyone, strict action will be taken. He said that the services of the service centers will also be started online. 46 public facilities are available from Seva Kendras.

He said that the main purpose of opening the service center is to provide uninterrupted services to the people in a transparent manner. Minister Arora directed the Department of Administrative Reforms to start online TOKS service soon or where people can get tokens at home. He said that all citizens are equally entitled to receive all the services provided through the service centers.
