Mumbai : Bollywood actor Fardeen Khan is celebrating his 49th birthday today. He was born on 8 March 1974 in Mumbai. He is the son of actor, director and film producer Feroz Khan. Fardeen Khan has completed his schooling from Jamna Bai Narsee School in Mumbai. He graduated in Business Management from the University of Massachusetts, USA. Fardeen Khan started his acting career in 1998 with the romantic film ‘Prem Agan’. He was awarded the Filmfare Best Debut Award for his leading role in this film.
After which he films ‘Jungle’, ‘Love Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega’, ‘Om Jai Jagdish’, ‘Bhoot’, ‘Jansheen’, ‘No Entry’, ‘Hey Baby’, ‘Life Partner’, ‘All the Best’. : Fun Begins’, ‘Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya’, ‘Dev’, ‘Fida’ and ‘Ek Khiladi Ek Haseena’. Fardeen Khan was last seen in the 2010 film Dulha Mil Gaya. After which those curtains have been away for a long time. The actor was caught red-handed by the Narcotics Control Bureau on May 5, 2001 at 3 am while buying drugs.

According to media reports, during the interrogation of NCB, Fardeen Khan confessed that he used to take drugs, due to which he told to look fresh during the shooting of films. Because he used to get late in sleeping. Sometimes even his sleep was not complete. After which he was released after getting a course of de-addiction in the hospital.
The actor tied the knot with Natasha Madhvani, daughter of actress Mumtaz, on 14 December 2005. Both had dated each other for years. The couple has a daughter Diyani and a son Ajarsi. Fardeen Khan will soon be seen in Sanjay Gupta’s production film ‘Explosion’. Directed by Kookie Gulati, the film will also feature Fardeen Khan along with Riteish Deshmukh and Krystle D’Souza.
