The fearless robbers targeted the money transfer office in Janakpuri, a congested area of the city. In broad daylight, three motorcycle-riding miscreants entered the office and ran away after robbing a woman sitting in the office at gunpoint of two and a half lakh rupees. The speedy robbers carried out the robbery in just 25 seconds. This movement of the robbers was captured in the CCTV cameras installed in the street, the police is investigating based on the CCTV footage.
It is clearly seen in the footage of the CCTV cameras that around 3:30 in the afternoon a Sardar and two youths came riding on a scooter. The miscreants ransacked the street and entered the money transfer office. The miscreants committed the robbery and fled the scene.
The woman ran after them but the miscreants were dazed. Some people were present in the street but they did not come forward to help the woman. It was clear in the CCTV that a person standing behind the auto was watching the entire incident as a silent spectator and the miscreants escaped after carrying out the incident.
